The Standing Rock World Tour continued with British Polo Day in Abu Dhabi and Jaipur

From 11th to 16th December, Standing Rock was delighted to join British Polo Day events in Abu Dhabi and Jaipur as the latest destinations on the Standing Rock World Tour.

First founded in 2009, and having established its global network with 86 events spread across 16 countries in 18 regions and 5 continents over 17 years, British Polo Day aims to build long-standing relationships with some of the world’s most dynamic and interesting individuals, through distinct polo experiences hosted in iconic destinations.

The two-phase trip began with an unforgettable weekend at Ghantoot Polo Club, Abu Dhabi, playing in the evening under floodlights in front of a glamorous crowd, which created a vibrant atmosphere.

The British Royal team of Philipp Müller, Pablo Galante, Malcolm Borwick and Tom Brodie won the closely-fought match against the Ghantoot team 6:5, and Philipp was presented with the MVP Award.

The game was followed by the Royal Salute black tie dinner by Rosewood Abu Dhabi, a perfect way to end an action-packed few days of polo and culture in Abu Dhabi.

Next up, play continued in the Pink City of Jaipur at the Rajasthan Polo Club, where the team line up of British Polo Day I, Philipp, Nick Clarke, Malcolm Borwick and Jose Donoso put up an admirable contest against the Jaipur I team consisting of Col. VS Kahlon, Vikramaditya Singh, Siddhant Sharma and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur. At the end of the thrilling game, the home team, Jaipur I, emerged victorious with a 6:4 win.

Following the polo match, players and guests attended an enchanting gala dinner at the City Palace, hosted by His Highness, creating truly magical memories with spectacular Jaipur hospitality.

Thank you to British Polo Day for the opportunity to be part of such an incredible experience.
